TADEPALLI: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated AP Outsourcing Corporation on Tuesday. He said after launching the Andhra Pradesh Corporation for Outsourced Employees (APCOE) website, placement orders will be issued for outsourcing jobs from January 1.

The Chief Minister said that every outsourcing job should have a code number and every contract to be taken as an entity. He said that outsourcing corporation was started to benefit employees without middlemen interference. He said a situation should not arise in future where a candidate has to give bribes and get jobs. He made it clear that they should be given jobs without bribery and fraudulent methods.

YS Jagan also said that 50% of the jobs would be allotted to SC, ST, BC and minority groups. This was in principle made as part of his election promise to ensure jobs for government outsourcing jobs.

He also made it clear that at the district level, fifty percent of jobs will be given to women. The Chief Minister said that the Outsourcing Corporation has been set up to ensure that the outsourced employees get their salaries on times and file their issues and representations to the authority.

Officials have been asked to prepare a list of jobs by December 15. The in-charge minister of the district will be the Approval Authority and the respective collectors will head the district committee.

At the Secretariat the respective Minister will be the Approval Authority and the Department secretary would be the Convener.
