TIRUPATI: TTD Vigilance officers held a broker Kalluri Raju who had collected a huge amount of cash from the devotees by selling 46 recommendation letters siting ministers, IAS and IPS officials.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam’s Vigilance officers found that Rajari had used the recommendation letters from Former Telangana Deputy Chief Minister for 36 times, 23 times from Amberpet MLA, 17 times from Warangal MLA, 11 times from an MP. Vigilance caught two people who were sent to darshan with two letters of recommendation given by broker Raju. They had also received tickets on their letters.
Vigilance officials said that they had caught the man who was changing names with letters of recommendation and had lodged a complaint with the police.
