TIRUPATI: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Temple board has taken steps for providing 4000 special darshan tokens to the elderly and physically challenged people.
TTD had taken steps for issuing 1000 tokens at 10 am, 2000 tokens at 2 pm and distributed the rest of the 1000 tokens in the afternoon at the 3 o'clock slot.
TTD board requested the elderly and physically challenged devotees of Lord Venkateswara Swamy to take advantage of this opportunity so that they avoid the difficulties they would normally face during the Darshan.
TTD announced that it will issue 1400 tokens each day at the counters opposite to the SV Museum to the elderly and physically challenged people.
TTD will be issuing the tickets for both the slots from 7 am in the morning. Added to that, on Wednesday morning from 9 am to 1.30 pm, officials will allow children under five years of age and their parents to visit the temple through the Supadam route.
