Amaravati: The Ministry of Finance, Government of Andhra Pradesh released a note to clarify that it was not due to lack of funds that the AP Government employee's weren't paid salaries as relayed and shared in several TV channels and Social Media groups.

These payments are usually made by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) e-Kuber on the 1st of every month. Accordingly, all districts' pensions and salary files were sent to the RBI on July 31. By afternoon on the 1st of August, pensioners were paid and so were some salaries files were also cleared and paid.

Due to some technical reasons, the e-seal certificates were not working and the rest of the files were delayed. Immediate steps were taken to resolve this technical issue and the remaining employees were paid their salaries.
