Vijayawada: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy accorded grand welcome to Haribhushan Harichandan, who is appointed as the new governor of Andhra Pradesh.

He and his wife flew to Gannavaram airport in a special aircraft. They were also welcomed by Ministers and several senior officials of the State government. He then inspected the guard of honour accorded by the State police.

Harichandan will take the oath of office on Wednesday in Amaravati at 11:30 AM. Chief Justice of AP High Court Justice C Praveen Kumar will administer the oath to Harichandan.
