Amaravati: The decision to offer weekly offs to police staff is nothing less than a sensational decision made by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. As many as 60,000 police in the State would be indebted to the new CM, said Police Officers' Union president Janakula Srinivas said.

On the other hand, Police Officers' Union secretary Mastan Khan said while Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy had given junior assistant grade to policemen in the State, YS Jagan had further went a step ahead in police welfare. Police Union leaders expressed their joy and gratitude towards the decision.
