Women's group from across the state came in support of YS Sharmila, daughter of late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Objecting to propagation of misinformation about her on social media platforms by yellow media channels, they demanded stringent punishment against the culprits who were tarnishing the image of their beloved leader's daughter. Women's group said that perpetrators of this heinous crime should be brought to book at any cost. The women holding placards, staged a protest near the Tirupati bus stand demanding action. They also asserted that people were resorting to cheap tricks as they were unable to take on YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the political level.
