Tadepalli: Senior TDP leaders from Visakhapatnam including Adari Anand Kumar, son of Visakha Dairy Chairman Adari Tulasi Rao , joined the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Party office in Tadepalli ion Sunday.

Adari Tulasi Rao's daughter Adari Rama Kumari, Visakha Dairy Board members, and other key leaders from the TDP joined the YSRCP. It may be recollected that Adari Anand lost the Anakapalli Lok Sabha constituency to Dr Beesetti Venkata Satyavathi of the YSRCP, in the parliamentary elections held in March this year.

Speaking to the media after meeting YS Jagan, Anand Kumar and Rama Devi said that they had not joined the party with any selfish political motives. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had promised for farmers' welfare, they said. The schemes promulgated for the farmers welfare were impressive and we believe that this government was pro- farmers, which is why we have decided to work for the Party, they said. The TDP regime earlier had completely failed in protecting the farmers well-being, but with the YSRCP there has been a complete change in this aspect, which is why they have joined the party they said, when asked about the reason for joining the Party.
