Amaravati: The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government has released the annual lease amount to the farmers who had given land for the construction of Andhra Pradesh. AP State Municipal and Urban Development Secretary J. Shyamala Rao issued an order on Tuesday, releasing the amount of Rs.187.40 crores to such farmers in 5th installment. The CRDA has collected 34,312 acres from 28,442 farmers in the process of land acquisition for capital formation.

AP Government has to pay an annual lease to farmers for ten years under a land acquisition package, The state government has to pay the annual lease of Rs. 50,000 in the case of fertile land and Rs. 30,000 in the case of barren land. The lease has to be paid to farmers for ten years with an increase of 10 percent per annum. Even as the file was being scrutinized by the government, rumors were spread by TDP leaders and supporters of rent being stopped. TDP leaders began spreading rumours among farmers and others over annual lease Given to farmers, but the government has released an annual lease with a ten percent hike.

Housing Scheme Documents To Be Given By Ugadi

Kurnool: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Minister, Botsa Satyanarayana said that housing scheme documents will be distributed to the homeless on the day of Ugadi. The Minister held a review meeting with MLAs and district officials at the district collector's office and discussed several key issues related to people's welfare. Speaking on the occasion, he said that public welfare is the goal of our government. Botsa Satyanarayana suggested that every officer should be tasked with implementing Navaratnalu as promised by chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, Labour Minister Gummanur Jaya Ram, MLC KE Prabhakar, and district officials attended the meeting.
