Chandrababu Siphoned Off Funds From State Exchequer: Vijayasai Reddy

N Chandrababu Naidu - Sakshi Post

Amaravati: YSRCP senior leader and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy scoffed at the Andhra Pradesh Leader of Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu's recent ponderings as to why the TDP had lost elections even after results were declared three months ago.

Taking to Twitter in his usual sardonic style on Thursday, he asked Chandrababu: "Aren't you ashamed Chandrababu garu to say that you do not know why you lost elections even after three months following the public verdict? Wasn't it you who squeezed the State treasury like one would milch a cow? Not only that you call yourself a holy cow, and what could be a bigger joke than that."

In another tweet, he derided the TDP chief about how he planned to merge the party into the BJP and was sending his agents as part of that. As part of the understanding wasn't he the one who sent four of his aides to the BJP, so what more did he have to fear when there would be no complaint against you, he asked.

Taking about the Polavaram project, Vijayasai Reddy said that the late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy had brought all permissions and initiated the project works, which would have been completed in three years had the TDP made concerted efforts.

More than seven lakh acres of land would have been irrigated, and 950 megawatts of electricity could have been generated. As Prime Minister Modi rightly said Chandrababu only looked at it like an ATM machine and he had no intention to complete the project, he fumed.

Chandrababu in a recent meeting at Guntur with his party leaders and cadre said it was unfathomable for him to come to terms with the fact that the TDP had won only 23 seats. "Pallichchey Avunu Kaadhani.... Dunnapothu Lanti Prabhuttvanni Ennukunnaru," he fumed, and the statement loosely translates as people voted for a government which is like a male buffalo instead of a milch cow like his party.
