Andhra Pradesh chief minister designate YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's swearing-in ceremony is a much awaited event for millions of YSR Congress party workers and YS Jagan fans across the state of Andhra Pradesh. While the sun is setting Vijayawada ablaze with summer temperatures of over 46, the heat has in no way proved to be deterrent to millions of followers.
People's representatives have appealed to their followers and party workers to watch the event on the television considering the intense heat. Denduluru MLA Abbaiah Choudhury for example, told Sakshi on Tuesday that though he had appealed to people in his constituency to stay back in view of the scorching summer heat, they told him that they were duty bound to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
They further pointed out that 'Jagananna had walked for the people of the state irrespective of harsh weather conditions.'
Meanwhile, all arrangements are in place for the oath taking ceremony which would be attended by a number of prominent national and state leaders, including Telangana chief minister KCR, DMK chief K Stalin among several others.
