Hyderabad: Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma responded to TDP president Chandrababu Naidu's defeat in the Andhra Pradesh results on Thursday. In a series of tweets, RGV hit out at Chandrababu in a satirical take:
He further went on to share the birth and death date of Telugu Desam Party citing the causes of death as lies, back-stabbings, corruption, incompetence, YS Jagan and Nara Lokesh. The filmmaker, also said that the present situation reminds him of Chandrababu's deceits on his father-in-law and late Chief Minister NT Rama Rao.
RGV recently faced a lot of opposition for the release of his movie Lakshmi's NTR in Andhra Pradesh. Interestingly, the movie revolves around the events that happened in NTR's life after the entry of Lakshmi Parvathy in his life. The film tracks the events that led to NTR's 'dethroning' in August 1995 by Chandrababu Naidu.
With the YSRCP being in the lead of 150 seats in the outcome of the Andhra Pradesh election results, the party is surging ahead in the Lok Sabha polls with 21 seats.
