Amaravathi: The TDP seems to be preparing the ground to create a commotion on the counting day in the event of its candidates losing. Instructions to this effect have been already issued to its counting agents during the recent training programme conducted for them.
The counting agents have been told to insist for recounting in every round if opposition candidates were to get a majority. In case of officials not giving in, they have been told to create a ruckus.
In the three-day training programme that was conducted for agents recently, the TDP leadership has emphasised on this very point. The same is also reflected in the handbook given away to agents. In the crucial constituencies, if the defeat becomes imminent, they were given specific instructions as to how to make the results controversial.
