Rajya Sabha member and general secretary of YSR Congress Party, V. Vijayasai Reddy lashed out at Andhra Pradesh chief minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, for nurturing a caste-ridden media mafia. There are many media men like former TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash, the senior YSRCP leader said in a post on Twitter.
These pressmen became blackmailers who looted public money, he added. His tweet went on to say that this was a notable achievement of Chandrababu Naidu, who claims that he is a 'forty-year industry' in politics. Vijayasai Reddy said this mafia spread its tentacles across the country through Chandrababu's patronage.
Vijayasai Reddy also lambasted Chandrababu Naidu for spending public money on a helicopter ride to Ramoji Film City. Was the trip only to seek Ramoji's help and advice on the post-poll scenario, he questioned. Was it to seek the media baron's assistance in striking a compromise with Telangana chief minister, K. Chandrashekhar Rao, he asked. Vijayasai Reddy posed a direct query to Chandrababu--have you sunk to such depths?
