Hyderabad: YSRCP general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Tuesday said that TDP President and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is creating an illusion with his statements.
Speaking to the media at the party office, he said, "Chandrababu is trying to save the TDP party, which is in its last breath. Without even mentioning the number of seats, he is claiming to win the elections and come to power. Chandrababu will have to accept his mistakes once the results are out. He might claim that the surveys are favouring TDP but YSRCP will sweep the elections according to the surveys."
Stating that Chandrababu's behaviour is causing an embarrassment for many, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said, "He can managed to take photographs with the National leaders. But the YSR Congress party will come to power and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will also play a prominent role in the National politics."
He further questioned whether the Chief Minister held a cabinet meeting on drought or drinking water issues. The YSRCP leader said, "What is the significance of the Cabinet meeting now? Why is the meeting being conducted a few days before the results? This will be the last Cabinet meet for Chandrababu. YSRCP will emerge victorious on May 23rd."
