Senior YSRCP leader and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy hit out at TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu on Twitter saying that it was he (Chandrababu) who first introduced the concept of enticing voters. TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy had admitted to spending crores of rupees in the elections, the YSRCP leader said. Diwakar Reddy also said that unless money was on offer, voters refused to come forward to exercise their right. In his post Vijayasai Reddy further pointed out that Chandrababu spent Rs. 500 notes freely in the 1996 elections after dethroned NTR in a coup. The senior YSRCP leader said that the TDP had spent more than Rs.20,000 crores in the 2019 elections, but the people have decided to teach the TDP a befitting lesson.
