Amaravati: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) National Secretary and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy came out strongly on Jana Sena Party (JSP) Visakhapatnam MP candidate JD Lakshmi Narayana.
Lakshmi Narayana is popularly known as JD Lakshmi Narayana because of his post as the former Joint Director of CBI. On Saturday, Vijayasai Reddy took a dig at his title, calling him the 'Joint Director of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the JSP'.
In a series of tweets, he released a series of statements laced with sarcasm questioning Lakshmi Narayana's stance in politics.
Vijayasai Reddy started with a tweet stating that everyone knew the secret behind how he got the MP seat ticket. The Election B Form shows Jana Sena Party's signature, but the monetary benefits were from the TDP that was funding his election campaign, he stated.
He ridiculed him saying that the JSP had issued 65 B Forms out of the 175 seats, but it was the TDP, which had scripted the entire list. That was the truth even if he didn't admit to it, Vijayasai Reddy said. He also asked JD as to why Chandrababu had not campaigned in Kuppam and Mangalagiri and asked him to get clarity over it and he would get to know whether they would win 88 seats or not.
Vijayasai Reddy also said that if the JSP reportedly took package deals doled out by the TDP, the people would be merciless when it came to the results. This has been proven many a times, he tweeted. He also asked Lakshmi Narayana whether Chandrababu and his son Lokesh had instructed the TDP cadre to support him instead of Balakrishna's son-in-law M Bharath, even after he was given the TDP ticket. He said that it was clear that Chandrababu was trying to split the votes and fool people, but they had already seen through his evil designs, Vijayasai Reddy said.
Talking about Lakshmi Narayana dilly- dallying two months earlier when he was yet to make up his mind whether or not to join the Lok Satta. Then his readiness to join the TDP and contest as the Bheemili MLA and within two days he had joined the JSP as the MP candidate from Visakhapatnam. Vijayasai Reddy questioned his democratic values of trying to jump from three parties in three months, he ridiculed. In a scathing remark, he called him the Joint Director of the JSP and TDP, and the manager of a party with a criminal nexus and zero morals.
