Anantapur: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP JC Diwakar Reddy who vacated his seat for the sake of his son JC Pawan Reddy's political career has been raking up a ruckus ever since the time of elections. Whether it is his age combined with senility or helplessness over the anti -incumbency wave that has set in, he has been making controversial and comical statements in the past few weeks.

Yesterday in Narayanapuram, JC Diwakar Reddy asked the people to vote for the Congress, leaving the onlookers confused as to what the senior leader was speaking. Stating that he was talking straight from his heart, The TDP leader said that he was Congressman , as he had closed allegiance with the party from the beginning of his political days. He admitted that since he did not know Hindi he failed as a parliamentarian. JC Diwakar also agreed that he was originally from Gadwal and requested the people not to question his origins further.

In stark contrast to his behaviour yesterday, JC Diwakar Reddy was seen threatening voters from Narpala mandal in the district ,that if they did not vote for his son JC Pawan Reddy, he would kill them. Even after the campaign hours ended JC Diwakar in violation of the Model Code of Conduct campaigned was seen there. His aides were seen distributing money to the voters despite the election officials presence there. JC Diwaker and his aides got into an altercation with the villagers belonging to Kuraganipalli, Nadindoddi, Kesavapalli.

The infuriated villagers got into fight with him and his aides questioning him that how he could threaten them for votes, as this was a democracy. With tempers, flaying on both sides the arguments went on for quite some time after which the TDP leader left the place fuming. The villagers said that despite complaining to the police they did not pay heed to them.They staged a protest raising” JC Down Down” Slogans against the TDP leader’s behaviour.
