AP Ready To Give Retirement To Chandrababu Naidu: KTR

TRS working president Kalvakuntla Taraka Ramarao - Sakshi Post

The TRS working president KT Rama Rao said that the people of Andhra Pradesh are ready to give retirement to the AP CM and the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu. He also added that it would be of no use for the TDP Chief to criticise the Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao in his election meetings.

“The people of AP are looking forward to giving him a retirement,” KTR said in an interaction with the media at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad on Thursday. However, he said that Naidu was able to inflict some damage on the TRS in the last assembly elections. Even though the TRS had 88 seats out of the 199 seats, it could have won more.

KTR alleged that the Congress had tried to woo TRS leaders to field one of them as its candidates in the lok Sabah elections in Khammam Lok Sabha seat. “The party tried till the last minute. That is why it kept on hold the announcement about its candidate and finally announced Renuka Chowdhary’s name,” he said.

The TRS working president said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had not allowed the delimitation of constituencies to take place.

“He was the hurdle. Once the Federal Front comes to power, delimitation will happen and Telangana will have more assembly constituencies,” he said.
