The Telugu Desam Party's decision to deny tickets to a few partymen has created a lot of problems for its leaders in Chittoor. It's worth mentioning here that the heirs of two veteran TDP politician were given party tickets for the upcoming elections in April 11. This has created dissent among partymen with the latter denying any support to the candidates chosen by the party leadership. As a result, the first time contestants are facing dissidence from their own partymen who are creating trouble over being denied party tickets.
Party leaders battling this challenge include Party nominees for Srikalahasthi and Nagari Assembly segments, Bojjala Sudhir Reddy and Gali Bhanu Prakash. While ex-minister Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy's son Sudhir Reddy is not finding any support from party men in Srikalahasti, late Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu's son Bhanu Prakash is also facing problems from his own family. His brother Jagadeesh who failed to secure the party ticket for the same seat is creating hurdles for him, it is learnt.
