RK Vs Lokesh - Sakshi Post

Mangalagiri constituency situated between Vijayawada and Guntur will now be the scene of a historic battle in the upcoming assembly elections.

While TDP has fielded Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and party President’s son, Nara Lokesh, presumably after considerable scrutiny of the profile of the constituency, the YSR Congress party in its list announced on Sunday has pitted popular sitting MLA and party leader, Alla Ramakrishna Reddy against him.

Nara Lokesh will make his electoral Debu from Mangalagiri. The ruling party will throw all its weight behind him and will leave no stone unturned to pull him through. Locked in this battle against him is Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, popularly known as RK.

A public figure who has endeared himself to the masses here, RK has single-handedly taken on the might of the ruling party and fought for the interests of farmers and other sections.

Nara Lokesh has been parachuted by Chandrababu Naidu marking Mangalagiri as a TDP bastion from the party‘s perspective. RK has, on the other hand served the constituency with diligence and painstaking dedication.

His connect with the voters of the Mangalagiri assembly constituency is truly remarkable and it will not be easy for Lokesh to face up to the challenge.
