Vijayawada: Protests rock Vijayawada opposing Vangaveeti Radha Krishna joining the ruling Telugu Desam Party. Followers and family members of late Vangaveeti Ranga took to protest at the Ranga statue in Raghavaiah park, on Thursday.
Vangaveeti Narendra, son of Vangaveeti Narayana Rao, who is a brother of the late leader, protested against the recent development of Vangaveeti Radha leaving YSR Congress Party and joining the TDP.
Police later took charge and got him to end the protest. Later addressing the media Narendra said that Radha joining the same party that is responsible for his father’s death, is a piece of unsatiable news and with him joining hands with TDP, late Ranga has been murdered again.
He added that statewide members of Radha-Ranga Mitra Mandali are struck in grief with the news as Radha is repeating the same mistake done by his mother. Narendra pointed out that Radha has left his father’s aspirations aside and joined the TDP.
Many of the admirers of the late leader are questioning as to how can Radha join the party, that is behind his father’s death?
