YSRCP Questions TDP Lokesh For Negative Comments

Minister of Information and Technology of Andhra Pradesh N Lokesh - Sakshi Post

Minister of Information and Technology of Andhra Pradesh N Lokesh is facing flak from the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders for his degrading comments on the former party and the fight for Special Category Status (SCS).

According to the reports, N Lokesh said in a meeting that YSRCP is a drama company and ridiculed that the weapon used in the ‘murder’ attack on the leader of opposition Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Visakhapatnam as a plain cockfight knife.  Minister of IT spoke on the YSRCP MP’s resignation demanding SCS and made a statement that YSRCP and Bharatiya Janata Party are in a secret alliance.

In response to his statements, YSRCP leaders are questioning that when YSRCP MP’s resigned for Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh, why did none of the TDP MP’s resign. They pointed out that it was Telugu Desam Party (TDP) which was in an alliance with the BJP and never broached the topic of SCS.

YSR Congress leaders reminded that the father and son duo have not met the opposition leader after the murder attack not even under the grounds of humanity. They tried to sidetrack the investigation by not cooperating with the National Investigation Agency(NIA).

“If the YSR party is a drama company then is TDP a backstabbing alliance?” YSRCP leaders further questioned. If whatever YSRCP did for SCS is a drama, then what is the TDP doing now, they questioned.

YSRCP leaders warned N Lokesh to be mindful before speaking and if he continues to do the same then he will be humiliated. They even challenged him to contest in the elections and become a minister, not through a backdoor like his father, who became a minister with the support of his father-in-law late NT Rama Rao.
