Chandrababu Government Tampering With Voters’ List: YSRCP Sajjala

YSR Cpngress Party General Secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: YSR Congress said that Chandrababu government has been tampering with the voters list fearing imminent defeat and has been conducting surveys in the name of caste and other objectionable issues.

Speaking to media here on Saturday party General Secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said, ‘ we have complained to the Election Commission that there is large scale tampering of voters’ list in Andhra Pradesh and we have produced evidence which formed the basis of our complaint.

There has been an organised and centralised functioning of data collection and tampering with the electorate list through an intensive surveys and the framing of questionnaire is aimed at decisively concluding as to which Party the person would be voting in the 2019 elections.

The questionnaire also has in it details seeking the basis of his consideration including caste which is highly objectionable, he said.

Surveys can be conducted in the normal course but seeking information on the pattern of voting on caste basis and the channels the person would be viewing and newspapers they would be reading shows that the survey is being conducted only to find out those persons who are sympathetic to YSR Congress Party.

The data with such an extensive spread of questions is being stored at a central server and immediately after the survey some names are deleted and on the other hand dual voters are being listed by TDP and most of them are from Hyderabad, he said.

We appeal to the people to be alert during the surveys and check the name in the voters list as there seems to be a high level operation of manipulating the voters list, he said.
