Rajya Sabha MP and YSR Congress Party leader V. Vijayasai Reddy slammed Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu on the much-publicised capital city of Amaravati. In four and a half years, the much-touted global capital did not progress beyond temporary buildings, he pointed out.

The AP chief minister was claiming that Amaravati would generate Rs. 2 lakh crore worth assets in 25 years and was promising 20 lakh jobs. Chandrababu was shamelessly making such statements without realizing that people will see through his drama. Here's his tweet:

Earlier, he said that Metro Rail started its operations in Hyderabad a year ago. He remarked sarcastically that while the Amaravati-Vijayawada Metro was planned earlier, it was presumably running underground. He wondered whether it was functioning in space. Vijayasai Reddy derided the AP chief minister saying it appears as if some projects are confined to twitter and the virtual world!
