If we go by the white paper released by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, one would be inclined to think that Andhra Pradesh is on the steady path of progress and that the governance and welfare activities provided by the government are unmatched. Chandrababu is an expert in making others believe his words. He believes that memory of the general public is short. By using his yellow media, Chandrababu often ensures that his own statements are rewritten in public memory.

In his white paper, Chandrababu said the Centre was not assisting in the construction of Polavaram project. But, he did not mention that the Centre allotted Rs 8,000 crore. Originally, it was the Centre which took up the Polavaram project. Yet, Chandrababu took the responsibility from the Centre. In his white paper, Chandrababu said the people of AP were very happy while in his Dharma Porata Deeksha, Chandrababu said the people were unhappy. He accused the Centre of attacking the TDP leaders with IT, ED and CBI. But, he did not mention the hundreds of crores seized from the TDP MPs.

Chandrababu, who often calls for rolling out the welfare schemes irrespective of political inclinations, instructed the Janma Bhoomi Committees to look after the administration. He did not mention the decision to deny funds to constituencies being represented by the YSRCP. He did not even talk about the defection of 23 YSRCP MLAs and the farm loan waiver promise. The TDP chief said  Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy did not have the experience at Panchayat level. It may be recalled that Nara Lokesh had been nominated as an MLC and thereafter, inducted into the cabinet.

Chandrababu, who often boasts of controlling corruption by using technology, did not mention the rampant corruption to the tune of thousands of crores in irrigation projects. His involvement in the note for vote case cannot be forgotten. All in all, Chandrababus double talk is all over the place. Now that there is an alternative to yellow media in the form of the social media, his double talk is being exposed. Whether the public will tolerate the TDP supremo's double talk is yet to be seen.
