Congress Should Be Ashamed To Ally With TDP: YSRCP Leader Buggana

YSRCP senior leader Buggana Rajendranath Reddy - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: YSR Congress party (YSRCP) MLA Buggana Rajendranath Reddy lambasted Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for wasting public money with his 'Dharma Porata Deeksha'. Addressing a press conference here today, he raised questions on Chandrababu's Dharma Poratam (fight for justice) in the context of buying out the YSRCP MLAs. He criticized the TDP government for the rampant corruption in Neeru-Chettu, road repair works, sand mafia and liquor mafia. The worst part of this venality in the Chandrababu government could be seen in the fact that there was widespread corruption even in toilet contructions.

Buggana said that the State government lacked commitment in maintaining the law and order. While no action is being taken on the TDP leaders for attacking government employees, YSRCP leaders are being arrested for staging protests, he added. Chandrababu went on to play down the murder attempt on Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Recalling Chandrababu's criticism of the Congress, its leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, Buggana said it was highly opportunistic of the TDP Chief to forge an alliance with the Congress. "Is it not true that Chandrababu termed Sonia Gandhi as Anaconda of Corruption? Didn't he call former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh a rubber stump?" he asked.

The YSRCP leader further said that it was shameful on the part of the Congress, which has 100 years of legacy, to join hands with an opportunistic party like the TDP. It was surprising that Chandrababu called the IT raids on the TDP leaders an 'institutional damage',he said.

Why is it that the TDP is scared to order a third party probe in the attack on YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy? he demanded to know.
