Chandrababu’s Response To Attack On YS Jagan Cruel: Owaisi

MIM President Asaduddin Owaisi - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi today visited YSR Congress party (YSRCP) Chief and Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was injured on his shoulder in a murderous attack by a canteen worker in Visakhapatnam on Thursday. Following the injury on his left shoulder, YS Jagan received treatment at the City Neuro Hospital in the city, where the doctors carried out a surgery with nine sutures.

Owaisi met YS Jagan, who is currently taking rest, and inquired about his health. Speaking to media after his visit, he said that God was graceful to protect his friend YS Jagan, who was attacked as part of an organised plan to murder him. How can a person enter the VIP lounge of an airport while carrying a knife? he asked.

The MIM Chief expressed dissatisfaction over the attitude of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. "Chandrababu was cruel with the way he responded to the attack. Irrespective of political differences, Chandrababu should have expressed his sympathy with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. However, we cannot expect humanitarian values from Chandrababu. In future, the YSRCP Chief would play an unprecedented role in politics," he expressed.

Asaduddin further said that the people of AP were vocal against the attack on the Leader of Opposition and that the State government was responsible for maintaining law and order in the State. He also added that the public would give a fitting reply to Chandrababu in the upcoming elections .
