TDP Infighting Rocks Chittoor District Meeting

TDP Infighting - Sakshi Post

Chittoor: In yet another case of infighting in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), two groups of important leaders in the party's Rajasamudram unit fought publicly with each other in an internal meeting here at the Janardhana Swamy temple on Friday, in presence of chief guest, TDP district president Pulivarthi Nani. Alleging that TDP Mandal president Krishnamaraju was destroying the party with his corrupt practices, Mandal-level leaders Ramana, Srinivasulu, Thippanna and others launched a verbal attack against Krishnamaraju's group of supporters.

"Krishnamaraju collected Rs 3 crore from profitable works in the Neeru-Chettu program, but is allotting smaller works to other leaders in the party," they complained to the district president. Following this, both groups got involved in a verbal war, while party workers complained that the leaders were only bothered about making money and not about their problems.

After a few minutes of uproar in the meeting, Nani persuaded the leaders to make peace. He called on the leaders and workers to make the 'TDP Hamara' program on August 28, a success.
