Kadapa: YSR Congress Party leaders Suresh Babu and Amzad Basha said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's misleading acts were brought to limelight in the Parliament by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Speaking to media here today, the leaders called upon people to make the proposed state-wide bandh on July 24 a success.
The YSRCP leaders said that Chandrababu was making trips to New Delhi with a proposal to increase the number of assembly seats and not with an intention to get Special Category Status (SCS) to AP. By moving a no-confidence motion against the NDA government, the hopes of five crore people have been doused. They said Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had now validated the relationsip between TDP and BJP.
YSRCP leaders Srikanth Reddy and Amarnath Reddy expressed their confidence that SCS to AP was possible only through YSRCP President and Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The issue of SCS was alive because of the relentless struggle of YS Jagan. Chandrababu buried SCS by accepting Special Package, they added.
