Afghanistan’s debut in Test cricket turned out to be a terrible one as they were bowled out inside a session, in both innings. Quality Indian bowling tore apart Afghanistan's batting line-up as they bundled out the visitors for a paltry 103 in the second innings in the one off test match being played between the teams in Bangalore. Earlier, Afghanistan was forced to play the Follow on, after it could just make a meager 109 runs in the first innings against the disciplined Indian bowling lineup.
Afghanistan lost 20 wickets in a single day as India won the match by an innings and 262 runs posting their biggest innings victory. Batting order for Afghanistan collapsed like a pack of cards as batsmen seemed clueless against accurate Indian bowling attack comprising of Ashwin, Jadeja, Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav.
Ravindra Jadeja led the bowling attack in the second innings with four wickets while Ashwin gave a death blow to the opposition with four wickets in the first innings. With this the five day match ended up in just two days.
