Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao asserted that the TRS government would focus on Hyderabad and ensure its all-round development in its second term after the 2019 elections.

KCR said that the government had accomplished some of the main objectives including uninterrupted power supply, irrigation and drinking water, among other things. The government would put in place several initiatives to turn Hyderabad into a global city, he added. KCR observed that Hyderabad placed its implicit trust in the TRS government and gave as many as 99 seats to the party. The Telangana Chief Minister also cited the example of schemes like Rythu Bandhu which were pioneering initiatives of the TRS government, he pointed out.
