New Delhi: Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) Polit Bureau member BV Raghavulu said the governance of Jammu & Kashmir is in a state of disarray, after participating in the CPM central committee meeting here today. The Centre is ignoring the judicial system by delaying the appointment of the Chief Justice of India (CJI), who was suggested by the collegium of Supreme Court judges, Raghavulu said.

We request a clean and transparent National Judiciary Commission to safeguard the values of democracy, he said. We have called on for a "Chalo Parliament" protest with the farmer and labour organizations on September 08, he remarked. The committee reviewed the state of affairs in the states of Tripura, West Bengal and Kerala, he added.

"The RSS and the Sangh parivar are trying to destroy CPM and this is why they are indulging in assaults against CPM workers. We will chalk out plans for the 2019 general elections in the next committe meeting," he said.

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) is not living up to his idea of Federal Front, he remarked. KCR should have supported Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's recent protest against the Centre, he said.
