Vizianagaram: The TDP worthies have been on a spree of grabbing all Pancha Bhutas (five primal elements) - land, water, air, fire and sky, said senior YSRCP leader Botsa Satyanarayana. He said this grabbing spree has left Andhra Pradesh in dire straits.
Speaking at the 'YSR Kutumbam' programme in Cheepurupalli in Vizianagaram district, party senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana said development and welfare have taken a backseat in the Chandrababu Naidu regime. The only development taking place in AP is the growth in the money power of the TDP leaders, he quipped.
The YSR Congress leader ridiculed TDP claim that one lakh houses were constructed in the state. He said during the YS Rajasekhara Reddy era, over 2.8 lakh houses were constructed in Vizianagaram alone.
He also scoffed at the comments made by Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao, the YSRCP MLA who defected to the TDP to become a minister, that he joined Chandrababu Naidu after seeing the development he did. He said there was no development at all in the minister's constituency. Botsa said the welfare schemes launched by late YSR will be implemented in true spirit only under the leadership of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Navaratnalu announced by YS Jagan will bring a revolutionary change in people's lives, he added.
Vizianagaram district party unit President B Chandrasekhar also spoke.
