Hyderabad: After getting several representations from students and parents, the commissionerate of Technical Education has extended the date of tuition fee payment and self-reporting to June 14.

According to a press release issued on Tuesday, the last date for self-reporting of engineering seat aspirants and payment of fees has been extended.

Students are requested to pay their tuition fees and self report through the official website of TS eamcet board i.e tseamcet.nic.in.

The move came after the board found several seats vacant in various colleges of the state. Of the 64,946 engineering seats, 12,325 were left vacant under the convenor quota in the first eamcet web counselling while 2,109 seats were unfilled in B Pharmacy. Out of 2,229 seats only 120 were allotted to the students. However, the same case has been repeated with Pharm D course as only 33 seats were allotted out of 150.
