The initial feedback on Kaala could have helped steamroll its early success. It has been climbing the charts steadily since its release.

Rajinikanth's Kaala is a political drama in which he is portrayed as a mafia don fighting for the people of the slum and their right to own land. Kaala has been directed by Pa.Ranjith and produced by Dhanush.
