In what comes as a shocker to Superstar Rajnikanth’s fans, currently enjoying the success of “Kaala” at the Box Office, the release date for Shankar’s directorial “2.0” has been further delayed. The Sci-fi movie which stars Rajnikanth and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in the leads has been getting delayed again and again. It is learnt that a major portion of the films VFX are still pending, forcing the movie to be released only in 2019. One of the crew members working for the film revealed, “With the amount of VFX work on 2.0 that is still pending there are no way the makers will be able to release the film this year. In fact, the producers are currently working out a perfect release date for the film that will now hit screens in 2019.”

“2.0”, is considered as the most expensive film made in India so far and the delay is further adding up to the cost. Rajni fans who expected a double bonanza this year should now settle down only with the success of “Kaala”
