Mahanati, a biopic on Savitri has set a new trend. The focus now has shifted to the life of the late actress. As the movie has been receiving a tremendous response, many of the directors have now started focusing on the lives of celebrities. While a biopic on NT Rama Rao, Rani Lakshmi Bai has already been planned and are being shot, the latest we hear is that a movie is being made based on the life story of late actor Uday Kiran.

Yes, the actor who had entered the film industry with Chitram committed suicide in his apartment in 2014 and the reason for his suicide is still unknown. Uday Kiran had been right at the top of things in the industry at a certain period with movies like Chitram, Nuvvu Nenu, Kalusukovalani and Manasantha Nuvve. He was the only actor to get a hatrick with the hit of his first three movies.

Director Teja is making the film and it is learnt that the movie showcases all the aspects of his life. Teja and Uday shared a close bond and the duo ventured into the film industry with the movie Chitram. They later teamed up for the second time for Nuvvu Nenu, a blockbuster hit.

When the director announced the biopic of Uday, several rumours did the rounds on the story. The speculation has been revolving around his career, personal life and other aspects. On the other hand, the buzz is that the film was titled as Kaboye Alludu, but there is no official confirmation, as yet.
