Vijayawada: YSR Congress Party MLA Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy said that Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu has lost his mental balance after looking at the resounding success of YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's historic Praja Sankalpa Yatra. Speaking to media here today on the occasion of YS Jagan padayatra crossing over from Krishna district to West Godavari district, the YSRCP MLA said their party President had walked 228 kilometers in Krishna district.

Peddireddy said that some major announcements were made by YS Jagan during his walkathon in the Krishna district which include building the Machilipatnam port in 4800 acres of land, increase the accident ex gratia of fishermen to Rs 10 lakhs and most importantly the YSRCP Chief promised to name Krishna district after NT Rama Rao.

The YSRCP MLA said that the success of YS Jagan padayatra mirrors Chandrababu government's failure. It was time to teach the TDP Chief a proper lesson. He criticised that the TDP government for pushing the state into Rs 2.26 lakh crores debt and that too without building anything. "Under this government 92 per cent of farmers were forced into penury. Similarly, the DWCRA women have not been given interest-free loans for the last two years."

Peddireddy alleged that Chandrababu has thrown ethics to the wind and nominated Maharashtra BJP minister's wife as TTD Board member. This was an example of TDP Chief's politics of compromise, he asserted. He challenged Chandrababu to get turncoat MLAs to resign, contest on TDP tickets.
