Hyderabad: The Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST) will open the registrations for admissions into various degree courses in the state from tomorrow, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) stated. Although the last date for registration is May 26, candidates will be able to register until May 29 with a late fees of Rs 400.

In a detailed notification released by TSCHE, it invited eligible candidates to register for the degree courses offered by the government and private colleges in Telangana.

Between May 10 and 26, aspiring candidates can select their choice of colleges and courses online, followed by certificate verification during May 28, 29 and 30.

On June 4, the first phase of seat allotment will be carried out, after which students report to their allotted colleges between June 5 and 12.

The second phase of seat allotment is scheduled between June 5 and 14, followed by seat allotment from June 19.

"Fresh web options are not required for the second and third phase of counselling. The options provided by the candidates will be forwarded to the further rounds of counselling. The candidates will be given option to edit their choices or delete. The list of colleges participating in the DOST and their fee details will be made available on the website,”said Navin Mittal, Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Government of Telangana during a press conference here.

A special round of counselling will be held for those students who wish to change their college, from July 5 to 7.
