YSR Congress Party President, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy paid tributes to BR Ambedkar, who fought for the upliftemrnt of women and the Dalits. The YSRCP chief said that Ambedkar's ideals continue to inspire us to this day.
BR Ambedkar was the first law minister of Independent India. The principal architect of Indian Constitution was also a social reformer who worked to eliminate social imbalance. BR Ambedkar championed the cause of Dalits and strived to remove social discrimination.
While offering tributes, YS Jagan remembered Ambedkar as one those worked for the cause of Dalits, women and Labour.
The YSRCP chief is on a six-month long padayatra which will enter Krishna district today. The Praja Sankalpa Yatra has been a phenomenal success with overwhelming response from people of every district. The masses in large numbers are not only according a warm reception to YS Jagan but also expressing their solidarity with his relentless fight for achieving Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.
