Hyderabad: Students drawn from weaker sections have emerged as  toppers at the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education. The board had declared Inter results on Friday. The students belong to the state residential schools--Telangana Social and Tribal Welfare Residential Schools stood ahead of students who studied in private schools.

TSWREIS Second Year Intermediate Results

1. B Sreevani secured 985 marks in MPC.

2. Anusha secured 984 in Bi.PC.

3. Akhilabai secured 952 marks in M.E.C.

TTWREIS Second Year Intermediate Results

1. Swetha scored 989 marks in MPC

2.  Ganesh secured  986 marks in Bi.PC.

3. Veena Kumari scored 915 marks in CEC

4. Vimalatha and Sudimalla  secured 919 marks in HEC

The average pass percentage at TTWREIS was 87, while it 86.5 percentage was at TSWREIS.

The head of the institution, Dr RS Praveen congratulated the students for scoring well as some even went to become rank holders. He thanked chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, for extending support and taking special care towards these children.
