TDP leader AV Subba Reddy, who was a trusted aide of Bhuma Nagi Reddy slammed Andhra Pradesh tourism minister Bhuma Akhila Priya for calling him a wild fox. Speaking at a press conference, he said that the comments of Akhila Priya came out of her ego. He further said that it was unfortunate that the minister compared him with a fox. “I don't understand why the minister is staying away from party senior leaders?" he questioned.

He also said that the party high command will decide from which constituency he should contest for the elections. Be it Allagadda or Nadyala, the party will always support me, he said.

Earlier, there were rumours that chief minister Chandrababu Naidu had restricted him from Allagadda. Rubbishing the rumours, Reddy asserted that those rumours were not true.

"When Bhuma was alive, he used to discuss all the matters with me but the current tourism minister has put me away from all the party discussions." he added. "I will meet the party chief and CM Chandrababu Naidu soon after he arrives from Singapore," he said.
