The makers of Rangasthalam have treated the audiences with various posters, songs and teasers. Recently, the unit wrapped up Rangasthalam film shoot and post-production of the film is going on in full swing. The film features Samantha, Ram Charan in lead roles while Pooja Hedge will be seen in a special song which is said to be the highlight of the film.

Latest we hear is that Rangasthalam Ceeded theatrical rights have been sold for a whopping amount of Rs 12.10 Cr. It is worth mentioning here that Cherry's Rangasthalam has beaten the record set by Power star Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi which was earned Rs 11.70 Cr.

Helmed by Sukumar, Rangasthalam 1985 is said to be based on a rural theme set in a village drop and the makers are also planning to hold a pre-release event where they will erect 80s set. Rangasthalam 1985 is reportedly loaded with a lot of high-octane action sequences. Cherry plays a deaf sound engineer in the film and his character is named Chitti Babu.

Charan was last seen in Dhruva which didn't fare well at the box office as per the makers’ expectations but did mint some profit. Charan has now pinned hopes on this film and the makers have already created much hype among the cine buffs. Even Megastar Chiranjeevi is promoting Rangasthalam to ensure the film becomes one of Charan’s career best films.

According to sources, in most of the areas, Rangasthalam 1985 pre-release business is far better than Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya. Looks like Cherry is striding ahead when compared to Pawan Kalyan and Allu Arjun in terms of movie rights.

Rangasthalam 1985 is slated for release on March 30. On occasion of Telugu festival Ugadi, The makers are treating the audiences by holding a pre-release event on March 18 in the coastal town of Vizag. Earlier, they had planned to hold the same event in Hyderabad but plans changed due to various reasons. Now, movie buffs are wondering if the Rangasthalam team has planned any special event for the Hyderabad audiences as well. Watch this space for further updates.
