Rangasthalam is touted to based on brother sentiment. Recently, there was news that the film revolves around Cherry unraveling the mystery behind his brother’s death. Latest we hear is that Aadi who will be essaying a significant role will play a character named K Kumar Babu. Rumour has it that in the movie, Aadi runs for the President Post in the village with Lantern as his symbol. We are not so sure about his role but just basing our assumptions on a latest picture of Rangasthalam 1985 which has leaked on the social media. The picture has gone viral on various social media platforms. An official announcement about Aadi’s role is yet to be made by the filmmakers.

Cherry is all set to play a deaf person in Rangasthalam and his character is named Chitti Babu. The director gave a glimpse of Charan's character in the Rangasthalam teaser. The film is directed by Sukumar and produced under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. Recently, in a facebook live chat, Anasuya Bhardwaj who had quit social media had interacted with the audiences and stated that she is not playing Cherry's sister’s role in the movie. Bollywood hero Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro heroine Pooja Hedge will be seen in a peppy dance number which is set to be a highlight of the film. It is for the first time, Samantha Akkineni is sharing screen space with Charan and their on screen chemistry is sure to put the silver screen on fire.

Rangasthalam pre-release event is all set to take place on March 18 in the coastal town of Vizag. The Chief Guest of the event is none other than Tollywood Mega family hero Chiranjeevi. Several prominent figures from the film industry are also expected to grace the event. Rumor mills has it that Pawan Kalyan might attend this event although there’s no confirmation yet. Rangasthalam is all set to arrive in theatres on March 30.
