Hyderabad: Wings India-2018, the aviation show which was formally launched on Thursday by the Telangana chief minister K Chandra Shekar Rao has been receiving a huge response from the public in the city and nearby people are making it a point to visit the show to get a glimpse of latest flights. The aviation show is being held in Begumpet's old airport. Former aviation minister Ashok Gajapati Raju attended the inaugural.

The four-day biennial event with the theme 'India-Global Aviation Hub' is aimed to focus on increasing the connectivity between the cities. The event has around 15 aircrafts from ATR, Honda, TruJet, Gulfstream, Boeing, Embraer, Dassault, Club One Air, Aeroteck, Zoom Air, Air India and NAL. Over 125 exhibitors from the countries like US, Japan, UK, Russia, Singapore, France, Germany, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Italy and Iran are showcasing their aircrafts.

The event has been open for public for today and tomorrow while the first two days was dedicated for the business men and related people. Wings India was totally crowded with the people from the city and many from foreign countries have also been turned up at the show. People were spotted busy taking pictures with the innovative aircrafts exhibited at the event. The aviation show will conclude on Sunday.
