Ongole: People of Parchuru and Chirala constituencies have pinned their hopes on the YSRCP government led by Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to bring about a change in their fortunes.
Interacting with the YSRCP president on the 107th day of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra, here on Thursday, they said the TDP government did not implement any welfare schemes for them. Similarly, farmers, students and senior citizens did not receive any financial relief from the TDP as promised during the elections, they said and wished that the YSRCP forms the next government in the state. "Anna... during the elections Chandrababu promised us many things and we fell for his false promises. Even after having been in power over the last four years our problems remain the same. We have lost faith on this government. Our fortunes will change only when YSRCP comes to power," they told YS Jagan.
After giving a patient hearing to their grievances, YS Jagan assured them that the YSRCP government will implement welfare programmes for every section of the society. Large number of people walked along with YS Jagan from Parchuru to Chirala constituency in Prakasam district, on Thursday, to express their solidarity with the YSRCP chief.
