Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu seems to be setting up the stage for yet another drama as he convened a meeting with his party MPs here today over the future course of action on Andhra Pradesh Special Status.

It is learnt that the TDP government is likely to propagate that the Centre has obliged to its demands. The TDP leaders were reportedly told to convince people in the state that the Centre would allocate whatever state had demanded, making the special category status a no issue.

Meanwhile, YSRCP chief and Leader of the opposition in AP Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that Chandrababu had put the interests of state's people at stake by agreeing for an unspecified package.

While there is big ruckus in both the Houses of Parliament, with the YSRCP MPs staging protests for the special status, the TDP leaders are planting stories in the TDP-friendly media that the Centre has obliged to all their demands.

On the other hand, BJP leaders are bringing out the complete details about the special package in public. This is making Chandrababu uncomfortable, since it is proving that all his words are nothing but yet another staged act.
