Mancherial: With five-year term nearing completion for Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), the MPs from Lok Sabha constituencies in Adilabad and Mancherial districts seem to be eyeing at 2019 Assembly elections.

MPs Balka Suman and Godam Nagesh won the elections after getting the chance to content at the last moment are now planning to take party tickets for Assembly and are not keen to go to the Parliament once again. With the elections just a year away both the MPS — Suman and Nagesh already choosing Assembly constituencies.

The arrival of G Vivek in to TRS seem to have changed the political equations in Peddapalli Lok Sabha seat. Vivek, a former MP from Peddapalli, switched loyalties to the TRS. Everyone was the belief that Vivek would contest for the Lok Sabha election from Pedddapalli. To their surprise, Vivek again went back to Congress party to contest 2014 Lok Sabha polls and lost by a large margin.

Vivek joined the TRS once again last year and fetched a post in the Telangana government as an advisor. Speculation is rife that Vivek would contest from Peddapalli as a TRS candidate. If that is the case, the TRS leadership would field Suman from Choppadindi or Bellampally Assembly segments for the 2019 polls.

Yet another speculation is now rife that MP Godam Nagesh is interested to contest Assembly elections, transport officer and TRS leader Ajmeera Shyam Nayak is eyeing on Adilabad Lok Sabha seat. His wife Rekha Nayak is already MLA from Khanapur constituency.

Shyam had steered a pivotal role in Telangana movement representing Telangana Gazetted Officers Association. Meanwhile, Godam Nagesh, who has the experience of working as minister in the TDP regime during united Andhra Pradesh, is showing keen interest in contesting from Bodh constituency.
