Hyderabad: A post-graduate student from Hyderabad Central University was killed after her car rammed into a road divider at Burjugadda on the city outskirts on Tuesday morning. Two others in the car received grievous injuries in the accident.

The student, identified as Ananya of Uttar Pradesh, was driving her car (Hyundai i10 TS 09 EN 5257) towards Shadnagar along with two of her campus-mates. She was moving at high speed on the ORR and lost control of the vehicle at Burjugadda.

The car crashed into a road divider and turned it upside down killing Ananya on the spot. Two other girls who received serious injuries have been shifted to a hospital for treatment. A pall of gloom descended on the campus following the death of the student.
